BSHT – Better Homes and Gardens Christmas

I’m so excited to join my sweet friend Lindsay on this year’s Blogger Styling Home Tours – Christmas. If you are coming over from

If you are coming over from Sarah’s home, welcome! Sarah is so talented and I love that she’s a fellow Canadian…:)

Last week, I shared part 1 of my Christmas home tour. Here are a few of the photos…

You can see the balance of part 1 HERE and I’d love for you to come back on Friday, when I’ll be sharing the part 2 of the tour.

Earlier this year, Better Homes & Gardens visited us to shoot a feature for the 2016 BHG Christmas Ideas magazine. I thought it might be fun to share some of the photos I took while the crew was visiting our home….

I used my favourite turquoise ornaments from Balsam Hill. Reds and gold…

My cardboard trees were on display. You can find the tutorial HERE.

And Brody….always around.

And here is what the living room looked like. Unfortunately, I only took two photos…:(

My favourite part of the shoot was having them shovel snow from our yard back onto our front steps (after hubby had just cleared them)…ha. The shoot itself took about two full days, but it was so much fun and an experience I will never forget and am forever grateful for.

Please don’t forget to come back on Friday for part 2 of the home tour.

Thank you so much for stopping by. Here are the rest of the stops for today.

We must get coffee on the books for the New Year, and in the meantime, I am wishing you and yours a holiday filled with joy and laughter to carry you right through to 2017!

I was wondering about the garland on the tree. It looks like its a very fuzzy feather boa. Could you please tell me where you purchased garland and what it is called. VERY beautiful tree! Thanks so much for your time.
