Hello friends. I hope you’ve been well. It’s been hot, hot, hot here but I’m not complaining. I’m grateful that summer is here and we get to enjoy the outdoors. Specially this little space that gives us a little privacy in the close proximity in a suburban neighborhood. This year’s backyard decor, is pretty similar to last year and that’s just fine.
I’ve been collecting plants from the nursery but this year, it’s been a little more difficult because they haven’t had too much selection….
The fan palm is from last year. I brought it indoors at the end of the season and kept it in the spare room over the winter. I’m happy to report that it survived…:)
We’ve been taking advantage of this space quite a bit this year. It’s a perfect place to do a little social distancing with family and friends.
The gazebo actually gives you such nice shade that even on very hot days, it’s very comfortable to sit under.
Here’s a look at the deck again. You can see more HERE.
These fire towers have also been so helpful during the evening. They provide so much warmth when it gets chilly at night.
You can see that if I close the curtains over, we get a lot of privacy from the other houses.
I shared a little more of this seating area HERE.
And here is the other side of the deck… Like I said before, we’ve been using this space so much and have had many great meals out here…
Brody looks funny in this photo…lol
Sometimes I wish we had more land and a little more privacy but having this space makes it so much better.
That’s it for now…please make sure to check out the gorgeous outdoor spaces from my friends below.
A huge THANKS to my friend Krista for putting this hop together.
