Hello friends. How has your week been so far? The weather continues to be gorgeous here and I was able to do my planters over the weekend.
I can’t wait to show the rest of the deck…:) For now I wanted to share this small backyard sitting area.
For this post, my friends and I are sharing upcycle ideas but unfortunately for us here in Ontario, everything is closed and I could not get to a thrift store.
By the way, thank you to my friends Ashley, Janine and Leslie for putting this hop together.
So I decided to use these bamboo chairs as my upcycle by painting them.
You can’t tell from this photo but the chairs are two years old and the bamboo was looking very warned and weathered.
I guess these were not outdoor chairs after all. (?)
I used DecoArt PATIO PAINT Outdoor. I’ve used HERE before and I loved it !
Even though I really liked the original color, I love the black. They look brand new. This paint is perfect because it’s weather proof and doesn’t need to be sealed. It doesn’t peel and the coverage is amazing!
I brought David outside. Since he IS after all an outdoor planter. You might have seen him HERE before.
I also painted this terracotta dish …
And this cute planter. Aren’t the cute?
I still need to hubby to hang the baskets on the privacy wall, though I think they look cute there.
I love this little sitting area and I can’t wait to enjoy it for the rest of the season.
Thank you so much for stopping by today. Please make sure you check out the amazing upcycles from my friends below.
