Hello friends and happy new year! I hope your new year is off to a great start!
I’m sure you’re agree with me that once Christmas is over and it’s time to take down the sparkle, the house feels a little empty.
Well, today, my friends and I are sharing some easy Winter Decor Ideas to help your home still feel a little bit of that coziness of the holidays.
Of course, it feels great to have a fresh start. I love that feeling of a clean decluttered home. So The first thing I do, once all the Christmas decor is
put away is do a thorough cleaning. Of course soft throws not only add texture but also a feel of comfort to your space.
THIS one is so soft. I love it.
This winter has been extremely dark and gloomy so I like to add a lot of candles and even some little fairy lights. These remote control candles are perfect because you can place them anywhere. I love how this large glass cloche looks filled with fairy lights. 🙂
I changed the mirror to a smaller mirror. I’m not sure it’s going to stay there because it’s a little too small for the wall but I don’t mind it with the candles surrounding it.
Next, I added throw pillows with a lot of texture.
Here’s a different view of the mantel. I love when the candles are lit. Specially because our fireplace is currently not working 🙁
I of course had to include flowers. Hubby went to Costco the other day and brought these back for me. I’m a lucky girl…:)
I placed these votives in this brass bowl and I love the light that it reflects. It looks like a giant candle.
I’m currently working on some cute Valentine’s day ideas which I can’t wait to share. But in the meantime, please make sure you check out the great
winter decor ideas from my friends.
Thank you so much for stopping by.
