Hello friends. I hope you’ve been keeping well. I have been spending time away from the computer and focusing more on home.
I haven’t felt too motivated to share but I wanted to give a little peek of our backyard deck decor this year.
Not too much has changed from last year but this little spot is truly our happy place during the warmer months.
We had a bit of a scare a couple of weeks ago as a crazy storm came through and pushed the entire gazebo off the deck. The gazebo weighs over 800 lbs!
Thankfully it didn’t get damaged or cause any damage. We had several male friends come and help us put it back onto the deck.
This year, I bought all white flowers for my planters. As you can see on the bigger planter, I just placed the hanging basket inside and it looks so pretty.
Hubby helped me clean the rug and I think he did a great job. This might be the last year for it though.
My sister in law gave me those sweet daisies for Mother’s day. Though they’re not white, they look cute there.
It’s been quite rainy the past couple of days and when it rains, we push everything towards the center of the gazebo just to make sure the cushions stay dry.
I’ll share more photos of the deck later on in the season and when it’s nice and sunny. But here’s a little reel to give you a sense of the space.
