Hello again friends. How was your Monday? Why do Mondays come so quickly? I do have to admit that most times I don’t mind Mondays as they give me a little boost of energy and make me want to be productive. If anything, I think Fridays are the days that make me the laziest because they sorta feel like a weekend. What do you think?
By the way, I have noticed that my little ‘chit’chat’ at the beginning of every post is pretty lame. Ha. I’m really sorry about that. 🙁 So let me just get to it….
I’m happy to be joining my friends on Seasonal Simplicity hosted by Krista. Today we’re sharing Christmas mantels and vignettes.
I’m sharing an ‘elegant’ mantel. But it was honestly so easy to put together. If you follow me on Instagram, then you might have seen a short STORY, where I shared how I put together my banister and mantel.
I used similar theory on the mirror. I used a mixture of faux and fresh greenery which I simply taped to the back of the mirror. I used duct tape and it seems to be holding up ok.
I also love these sweet fairy lights and the gold beaded garland adds a extra touch of glam.
To be honest, I’m not sure if the mirror idea is silly or not, but I saw some modern hoop wreaths and I wanted to replicate on the the mantel. I thought the mirror would be a perfect way to do so by simply adding some greenery to it.
I think it looks super cute, however, I intended the greenery to be on the lower half of the mirror but I accidentally taped the greenery on the top and because I was running out of time, I decided to just leave as is.
Here is where you can find the stocking holders and stockings.
Is there anything more beautiful than the glow of a Christmas tree?
Thank you so much for stopping by today. Please don’t forget to check out the rest of the gorgeous Christmas mantels and ideas below.
much love,
Lucy

I love the asymmetry of your mantel display! Plus another example of a happy accident yielding perfect results with your mirror.
I love the “chit chat” in your posts! It just adds to the delight of having you share your beautiful home with us. 🙂
I love it! I also am seriously crushing over the fact that you did the greens off center on the mirror. What a gorgeous happy accident!
It is so elegant. It reminds me of something I would envision in a cottage somewhere in the English countryside.
It’s simply superb, Lucy, as always. Cheers and Happy Holidays, Ardith
I love, love, love your Mantel!!!! The mirror is the best part 🙂
I absolutely love how you placed the greenery on the mirror!

Gorgeous mantel display Lucy. Thanks for sharing and being a part of the blog hop.
This is stunning, Lucy! I’m in love with your wall color and the way all of the greenery and plaid pop against it. So gorgeous!
Oh yeah. Tree is approx 7ft
I love the greenery on the mirror! And it’s perfect at the top – at the bottom it would have blended too much with the shelf!! It’s amazing as always Lucy
Everything about this is perfect, Lucy! Love, love love.
Hugs, Jamie
Everything about this is so magical Lucy! Love it.

I don’t think the mirror idea is silly. I love the way it looks! I think the placement of the greenery is perfect. If you had put it on the bottom of the mirror it might be too close to the mantel greenery. Also, I love the dark walls and fireplace. Who makes the paint and what color is it? Thanking you in advance!
Thank you for posting this article, it was really helpfull. Great Article.
What is the wall paint color?
Hi Lucy! What color is the paint you used for your mantel? It is stunning!
thanks for sharing good information
Awesome thank you for sharing the amazing article.
Hi, the whole thing is going perfectly here and ofcourse every one is sharing data,
that’s truly fine, keep up writing.
There are many types of Christmas mantels on the market today, each one designed for a different purpose. The most popular form is a simple mantel with just a few items: candles and wreaths, maybe some greenery, maybe even some figurines or decorations that look like they are made out of glass. Many people think that this approach is more elegant than other alternatives because theres not much room inside a mantel for additional items. But there is another side to the story: the ornamental nature of these items often means that they are very likely to get neglected over time and therefore need regular attention.
I don’t think the mirror idea is silly. I love the dark walls and fireplace.
Very good.
