Hi friends. If you’re coming from Janet’s, welcome! She is so talented isn’t she?
I wanted to quickly stop by to show you another version of the tablescape I shared last week.
This time, I removed most of red and left the greens and blues. I’m in love with this velvet ribbon from Michaels.
I have used everywhere around the house. I like how pretty the ribbon looks tied around the chair.
I used this pretty plaid tablecloth, that I actually folded to serve as a runner. I lined it with sa mixture of fresh and faux greenery from Michaels. The gold garland is also from michaels and so are the twinkly lights.
I had these really cool antique metal stencils. I bought them several years ago at a antique little shop in the middle of nowhere.

Adding a little satin ribbon is such a cute way to place your utensils on the plate.

I also picked up a plain grapevine wreath and added some fresh and faux greenery. More green ribbon. 🙂
The handsome nutcrackers and little red cardinals I think look adorable in the background.
I told you I was obsessed with this ribbon. I actually keep going back to Michaels because I keep thinking of new places for the ribbon.
There you have it, something a little more subtle. I hope you found some inspiration. Don’t forget to check out Michaels for your Christmas decor. They have so many beautiful things to choose from and always great sales.
Please head on over to my dear friend Yvonne for more gorgeous inspiration.

I’m enthralled and amazed at the transformation in your home this year Lucy!! You are so talented! xx
Classic and gorgeous! That’s what this table is. The ribbon is perfect, too! I can see why you keep going back for more… 🙂
Wow, this whole room is just stunning, Lucy! Every detail is perfect!
Hugs, Jamie
Love both the velvet ribbon and, especially, the metal letter stencils! Aren’t you clever to think of a Christmas word spelling and use while at the antique shop.
Stunning in it’s simplicity!
It’s all so perfect with your new dark paint! The tartan plaids, the touches of red, the velvet ribbon… Love it!
All so very pretty. I am wondering where to find a clear pine(?) table such as yours as well as the lovely hand knit looking ivory rug. ? Thanks, really enjoy your clean bright style.
