Hello friends…Happy Tuesday. You’ll be getting two posts from me today as I accidentally double booked myself. But that’s ok, because with this post, I will show you how easy it is to put together a super simple vignette without too much effort.
On Sunday afternoon, I checked my emails and suddenly realized that I had made a commitment to my friend Krista to participate
in this vignette tour . I was about to leave to my parent’s house to celebrate my daddy’s 70th birthday so I had no time to go to the store and buy stuff for a spring vignette but I also didn’t want to let Krista down.
So I gathered all the ‘springy’ things I could think off from around the house and put together a sweet little vignette that took me less than 10 minutes to do.
When creating a vignette, always think of uneven numbers, varying heights and a theme or similar colours.
I took a simple tray, covered it loosely with moss and placed my little olive tree on it. I then placed the ivy and covered it with a cloche. I placed the empty pot on to its side and placed a little nest with
some chocolate eggs in it.
I quickly made another nest for the top and voila!
I love how sweet it looks and how easy it was to put together. All without having to go out and buy anything, being late to my daddy’s lunch and keeping to my commitment to Krista…:)
win, win, win!
