Christmas Home Tour part 2

Hello friends and welcome !
Are you enjoying these Christmas tours as much as I am?
Last week I shared with you a little bit of our home all dressed up for Christmas
you can see it HERE.
And today, I’m honoured to have you here to share a little more of our home.
So welcome!
If you ever visit our home, you will more than likely be greeted by this guy,
he gets very excited to have people over, so I hope you don’t mind dog kisses.
This guys loves snuggles and giving kisses.
But he’s not always this calm. This was a rare moment…:)
This year, I wanted a change from my usual planter decor.
And decided to get two (kinda big) Christmas trees.
We were a little worried that they might be too big, but we ended up loving it.
We purchased them at IKEA for $20 each. :)
I dressed them up with a few ornaments and a couple of artificial berries.

I have shared this wreath before, it’s from Birchlane. I knew I would be make a great addition to our winter porch. I just added a few winter greens and some fake berries. I think they look so great !

I placed some red ornaments to tie everything together.
This is our front entry. Hubby built this little spot for us last year and I still love it.
I love my red hunter boots, against the faux fur rug.
Even though I love this photo, I think to myself that in ‘real life’  this would never fly.

I shared with you our ‘frozen tundra’ themed tree HERE. I will be sharing some secrets about the tree  with you next week..;)

If you are a regular here , then you might remember the sideboard hubby built for us this summer.

I kept it very simple with just a few of the Christmas cloches and a natural wreath.

I have mentioned this before, but we have an open concept home,
so you can see our dining room from our living room..

I made a few years ago out of cereal boxes. You can find the tutorial HERE.

I can’t believe how much I still love them after all these years…:)

Around the corner, is our family room…

I will be sharing a tutorial for my NOEL sign tomorrow…:)
It was really easy to do, but I think it adds such whimsy to the mantel…
I also shared details of our new  Balsam Hill tree HERE
Our master bedroom hasn’t really changed that much since the fall.
And I can be honest with you? we haven’t done much upstairs yet.
And well…that’s it for now, I hope you were able to find some inspiration
within these images. But please remember that during this season, it’s not about the ornaments or the lights or the present but the Good News and Hope of Christmas.
Thank you so much for taking the time to visit our home today.
Much love,
Please make sure you take a minute to visit some of my friends and their beautiful homes.

Lucy I always look forward to seeing your lovely home. Love your pup, I had had an Australian Shepard, Lady. She look so much like Brody, she didn’t have a tail. Thank you so much for the tour. Merry Christmas!

Val: il caranibiere che ha sparato e’ il minor colpevole, forse in quella situazione il colpo sarebbe partito anche a me.Ma alla diaz mi sarei rifiutato di picchiare a quel modo.

The Zune concentrates on being a Portable Media Player. Not a web browser. Not a game machine. Maybe in the future it’ll do even better in those areas, but for now it’s a fantastic way to organize and listen to your music and videos, and is without peer in that regard. The iPod’s strengths are its web browsing and apps. If those sound more compelling, perhaps it is your best choice.

Now Lucy, you know your pup stole the show right? Such a beautiful dog!!
Still loving that entry way design, you guys did such a wonderful job on that.
    It’s styled so prettily too.
Happy holidays to you and yours :)

Lucy, your home is breathtakingly beautiful, as always! The front door looks so festive with all the greenery, but your family room is definitely my favorite space… simply stunning! So excited to be on this Christmas home tour with you. :)

Hi Lucy, you had me hooked at the dog and coke boxes by your front door. Love your decorations and thanks for stating that yes, Jesus is the real reason we celebrate Christmas. Blessings and smiles, Emilou :-)
