Hello friends. How are you? It’s been a cold week here in Ontario but I’m not complaining yet because the weather has been nice up until a few days ago. My only regret is not having worked on the front porch when it was mild. I do this to myself all the time…ugh.
But I digress, today I wanted to share with you these adorable
Anthropologie Inspired Vine Monogram Ornaments
I think they turned out so cute and are perfect as well as gift toppers which is how I’ve used them here.
Cute right? They were pretty easy to do and I want to show you how…
You’ll need some wooden letters
Puffy paint
Gold Leaf
Paint your wooden letter white and let it dry.
With the 3D paint, paint a simple vine or even random doodles on the wooden letter.
Let the 3D paint dry until it feels tacky but it does not rub off on your fingers.
Take the gold leaf paper and rub it right onto the letter. The tackiness of the paint will allow the leaf to adhere. I used a toothpick to remove the gold leaf from the areas that were not drawn on.
And that’s it! What do you think?
Like I said before, these are so cute as gift toppers, to place on the stockings or as ornaments…
