Easy statement necklace tutorial

It’s Friday…Woohoo!
In the spirit of the many ‘Fashion Fridays’ you see out
there, I wanted to show you a super, almost too easy, DIY.

I purchased the wire necklace thingie at
the DS (sorry not sure what it’s called).

I would recommend using white or light bobby
pins, as the black ones took several coats to cover.
Do forgive me for the following….

“What say we settle this on the runway …Han-Solo?”
“Are you challenging me to a walk-off…Boo-Lander?”

 Yup..all that and a bag of chips….

Are you still with me, or did I lose you at the Zoolander quote?

I learned this from my hubby’s family, that is to approach awkward situations with humour.  Taking self portraits is not awkward for me, but sharing them with you is….so I decided to have fun with it. :)

Please don’t take me too seriously and I will blame my Bella for the accessory selection (the glasses and hat).

I do however love the necklace and how versatile it is, as it coordinates with so many of my outfits.

Well sweet friends, I hope you have a great Friday and that you come back soon.

much love,

Oh that looks so fabulous!!! I usually only stick with pink or red nail polish so this will give me a good excuse to go out and buy some fun colors!! Thanks for sharing – pinned! Have a great weekend!

Yet another great craft idea for my daughter and her friends – and she can finally find a use for all her leftover nail polish colors! This necklace looks so trendy and you can keep removing and adding those painted bobby pins for different combinations. Jeez, the possibilities are endless… Think I’ll try one as well!
