Yesterday's post took you behind the scenes to show the deleted takes 1 and 2 of my Valentine's Mantel story (which you can see here). It's time to carry-on, so please...
Quiet on set! Take 3 and...
Action!
I added some of my mismatched teacups and
some wilting roses I had from the previous week...
...and decided I preferred the soft
muted colours of the pale roses and so....
Take 4!
...and...Action!
You can't go wrong with milk glass and sweet pink roses.
That's better.
Soft and romantic...
Soft and romantic...
...serene and lovely.
This might just be the one, but as you may have
already guessed, there was one more to come.
So there you have it - a behind the scenes look into Craftberry Bush. Some days I'm able to put together a display right away while others - like this one - takes a few tries before I'm completely satisfied.
Do you have a favourite?
Hope you enjoyed this little creative journey.
much love,

I think they are all very pretty:)
ReplyDeleteLove the behind the scenes look at your creative process...
ReplyDeleteHave a great day,
Nic
Very fun process you shared! My fave is definitely the last one with the soft roses, but my second fave is the one with the chalkboards and the gerber daisies! It has a fun modern look I think. Lots of work but worth it in the end!!
ReplyDeleteThey are all lovely, but the last one is my favorite!
ReplyDeleteI love them all, it's too hard to choose a favorite! I have never really decorated for Valentines Day before, thank you for the inspiration. :)

It has been a wonderful lesson in design to watch your creative process. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteThey are all pretty but in the end you chose the right one...it's perfect!
ReplyDeleteI like the #2 with the vintage window & love as the winner.
ReplyDeleteMy second option would be #3 minus the greens and wilted roses, but instead the fresh roses you shared in the Love photo.
Beautiful work Lucy...
My favorite is LOVE with the faded roses. Second is the one with the greenery. All are gorgeous.

I love them all! Everything that you work on turns into something beautiful..... Will you work on me? Lol
ReplyDeleteYou mantle is perfect. I am so glad I am not the only one who makes tweaks and changes like that! All your arrangements are sweet, but the top right is my absolute fave. Love it, now to go rearrange a couple displays in my own home!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week, and stay warm!

So funny! They really are all pretty but my favorite is the soft pink roses - although the greenery is a close second! So, so pretty!!
ReplyDeleteThey are all lovely and inspirational, but I actually adore the gerbera daisies and chalk boards! Guess that would fit perfectly with my white mantle and black leather sofa...
ReplyDeleteI would like to thank you for the efforts you have made in writing this article. I am hoping the same best work from you in the future as well. In fact your creative writing abilities has inspired me to start my own Blog
