Hi again! Did you have a good day? After a day of preparing lunches, cooking dinner, folding laundry, answering emails, driving kids from here to there, picking up groceries, or having meeting after meeting, I think you deserve a little break.
So grab a cup of tea (or beverage of choice) and join us for Happy Hour!
I've always loved the look of fresh wreaths and this week I shared a pretty little apple wreath using natural items from our yard. Even though our Thanksgiving was over a month ago, I wanted to share some ideas to hopefully inspire a beautiful Thanksgiving at your home. Starting with a mini burlap sack table place setting. So easy and so cute. I also shared the 'thankful walnut'. This is a great way to initiate a meaningful conversation and ponder on things that we should be thankful for. And lastly, I took advantage of a rare sunny day and made a delicious grilled vegetable salad for lunch...yum!
On the home front, we finally bought a new Christmas tree...after 16 years! It's so pretty and I can't wait to decorate it. Having a new tree at home has given me the Christmas decorating itch but I'm afraid that if I start too early all the greens would be dried out by the time Christmas rolls around, so I think I'll have to wait a couple more weeks.
Oh...I almost forgot to tell you that my mom lent me her sewing machine indefinitely and I am slowly starting to conquer my fear of it. With a little help of YouTube, I was able to thread my bobbin. Sad, I know, but I was so proud of myself :) I'll show you what I made next week!
Now let's see what Taryn has been up to....
Our sweet Jaime has not been feeling very well of late and took a well deserved break. But she's starting to feel a little better and can't wait to get started with her crafting again! Take your time Jaime, we're not going anywhere!
And now it's now time to party!

Thanks for hosting y'all!
