One by one, the kiddies come into the bedroom "complaining" that the sound of the fireworks is not allowing them to sleep; this time they do have a good excuse and so I allow them to peek through the window and watch for a little while.
A perfect way to wrap up a perfect long weekend.
We had perfect weather the last couple of days and were able to get a lot of gardening done. I was also able to make this little caddy for my herbs.Last week, the kiddies and I made their Grandmothers little herb gardens as a Mother's Day present. I kept some of the tags the kiddies had made because I knew I wanted my own...
I immediately thought of a previous project using one of those multipurpose baskets you see at the Dollar Store.

Would this not also look so cute with vintage bottles and beautiful flowers displayed....hmmm?
But for now, my little Rosemary pot will blossom on my window sill.
Thanks for dropping by...have a beautiful day!
much love,
Lucy
ps - I was also able to use some of the long weekend to work on a piece of furniture that has been sitting in our garage for a while. It's almost done and I can't wait to share it with you....I hope you like it.

How cute is that! I love that you let the kids watch the fireworks for a bit...it is those things that they will remember for life. xo Diana
ReplyDeleteHappy Victoria Day!
ReplyDeleteJust lovely!
ReplyDeleteIt's very cute, but with all that rust, I sure hope your tetanus shots are current! So many adults have let their immunizations expire! When was the last time you had a tetanus shot? It is very easy to get a puncture wound from wire.
