"One creates from nothing. If you try to create from something you're just changing something. So in order to create something you first have to be able to create nothing. " Werner Erhard
I'm so happy that you are here, and hope you are having a great week thus far. I am often in awe of time and how fast it slips out of my hands.
This week in particular is flying by. It feels like I have a million things to do and my mind is spinning with ideas.
My sister in law decided she wanted a circus theme which is perfect for the little angel since he makes our lives so full of joy.
They say the circus is synonymous with fun. I say 'they say' because even though I don't recall ever going to the circus, my mom swears that we have and I had fun. I guess I was just too young to remember, but I'll take her word for it.
What do you think? Do you think they're ok? I hope so.
Just another little peek into my creative process - I hope you enjoyed it.
Don't you agree that this picture is the perfect way to say bye for now....
Have a great rest of the week...can't wait to see you again!
much love,
Lucy
Also in bloom...

ReplyDeleteOH-KAY Lu- You have really gone over the top with this one! Just when I think you can't go any higher you scale another peak. I made MyHero walk over to the computer to look at this! I said you won't believe it! He said-what's it made from- I said -fondant. He said- What's fondant. I said...basically it is icing. He said..yeah right- (He is used to all my practical jokes by now). I said seriously...and I said...AND this girl is beautiful...he said Yeah right- I said here- Look here---and pulled up your profile photo. He said- Okay..You got me this time- you're right- she is beautiful...and now I am happy because I can tell him- I told you so!
ReplyDeleteLOVE THIS little "ellyphunt" (as SweetCheeks calls them)- If I come back in another life will you adopt me? I am with you- I like my animals in the wild-except the human ones- I like them in prison. xxoo Diana
I am amazed every time I drop by here. You are just so talented, Lucy. I love the fondant elephant, but I am drawn to your sketches... Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteLucy, this actually made me tear a little! I can believ the work you are putting in my lil' Ben's cake! I can feel your love for him (and us...maybe, a little?) in your every pen stroke and press on that fondant. I won't lie, I want those sketches! They would look AH-MAZE-ING in a frame!
ReplyDeleteThank you Q, for loving Ben so well. You have made me one happy momma. Ben's party will be perfect. THANK YOU, THANK you, THANK YOU. Love you.
