Hello all! I hope you had a great weekend!
Can you believe it's the first week of December already?
I wanted to make a framed chalkboard but didn't have a piece of wood large enough to fill in this frame. What I did have were 2 pieces of black Bristol board (usually used for my photography) which I simply taped to the back of this old frame.
I also wanted to let you know that I will be sharing how to make a really cool Christmas gift for a teen over at eat.sleep.MAKE. I would love for you stop by !
I can't wait to show you the rest of our Christmas decor! In the meantime, I want to wish you a great beginning to a blessed month. It is my hope that you find the JOY in the season!
much love,

This is awesome, Lucy! I am totally going to have to do this -- I have been wanting a chalkboard in our living room for so long. Thanks for sharing this short-cut; I hope you had a great weekend!

ReplyDeleteGreat idea Lucy :) I just added some chalkboard art to my Christmas decor too. I shared it on my fb page but haven't blogged about it yet.
ReplyDeleteSo simple, great idea. Love the little wreath you drew too, so sweet. I'm getting close to finishing up my Christmas Chalkboard myself!
ReplyDeletePS Thanks for including me in the roundup again this week friend!
This would be such an easy way to add a little personalization to my kitchen! The wreath really pops against the black, it looks goregous!
ReplyDeleteI've seen so many framed chalkboards lately, and I think this is my favorite! Thanks for posting!!
