Halloween Mantel and a Linky Party...

'They' say there is always a first for everything and well, this
is definitely a first for me...my first ever Halloween mantel.

Because I didn't have any Halloween specific items at home,
I decided to hit the Dollar Store and use newly purchased
items in combination with those I already had on hand.
I ended up spending less than $10.00.

Given it's my first, I kind of like how it turned out...

Having said that, I created the mantel, took
some photos and put it back to look like this...

Hubby didn't even get a chance to see it and the kiddies expressed
disappointment as to them, the Halloween mantel was 'way cooler'.

An old frame I had at home that I decided not to dust...
for added effect of course ;) and Dollar Store crows
waiting for their friend to escape from the metal cloche...

Well there you have it, my first ever Halloween mantel...how did I do?

Now to our month long Party.  You're invited to link up
any Halloween related projects to inspire and be inspired.

I can't wait to see what you all come up with.
