Oh Happy Day...The announcement...

Have you ever had a moment in life when the situation just felt right?  When there was no doubt in your mind that it was supposed to be?  

Last week, I mentioned I was excited and looking forward to the future as I wanted to bring fresh new ideas to this little blog.  Ideas that would hopefully not only inspire, but help some achieve growth - be it creative, spiritual, health or personal.  And I mentioned I wanted YOU to be involved. 

Well, here is my exciting news.  I am teaming up with two of my favourite bloggers and friends - Jaime from 'Scrappy, Crafty, Happy' and Taryn from 'Design, Dining and Diapers' - to host what we hope will be a different kind of linky party.  One that will not only be geared towards providing you a lot of exposure, but also creating an environment where you can connect and form friendships of your own.  It's easy to get caught up in the stats, readers and sponsorship aspect of blogging, so we want to remind everyone how rewarding it can be to be part of this amazing community where strong friendships can be formed.

We realize there are so many other linky parties out there and time is precious, but we are truly excited and committed to making this a success.  In a nutshell, we're three friends hosting a party for our friends, and we want you there.  We know you'll bring inspiration and we hope you too will be inspired. That is why the party will be called HAPPY HOUR and will be held on Fridays starting at 5:00pm. 

So here's the scoop:

ANYTHING GOES
By anything, we mean anything.  Whatever you have been up to for the week, be it your thoughts on your children, your pets, anything crafty, DIY, sewing, cooking, your instragrams...anything at all.  We want to get to know you and provide exposure for you to others.  Our only request is that the image you link up belongs to you.  It's important for us to make sure we give proper credit.

MEET NEW PEOPLE
When you link here, you will automatically be linked to both of Jaime's and Taryn's blogs, meaning you will get to meet their friends as well.  Blogging is a lot more than just 'blogging'; it truly is a community where friendships are formed. I know many of you have experienced this and if you haven't yet, I promise you will. 

BE FEATURED
As mentioned before, the party will commence on Friday at 5:00pm. We then will do features on Saturdays and Sundays, which will appear on all of our blogs and FB pages, as well as a Happy Hour Pinterest board where your creativity could also be featured. 
 And we all know the power of Pinterest :)
