A heart for Shabby...easy Valentine ornament or gift tag

I hope you have had a lovely week so far...

Today I have a super quick, easy and best of
all - inexpensive craft to share with you...

Several weeks ago, I was at our local dollar store and spotted some beautiful cupcake liners.  Even though I knew that I had no need for them, I just had to have them...

I have thought of several uses for them, none
of which have anything to do with baking...

Here is one of them...

I simply drilled a hole through wooden hearts and used
DecouPage by DecoArt to adhere the cupcake liner onto them.

So sweet as a gift tag or an ornament...
For a completely different look, I made
some using music sheets and chalk paint...

This one I covered with some beautiful paper from
Canvas Corp.  It's the same paper I used here.

It's called French Script...so pretty.

 Vintage love...

...or Shabby love.
What's your favourite?

Well my friends, short and sweet for today.

I will see you again on Saturday when I will announce the winner of the JO TOTES bag. (go here to enter)

Have a beautiful day!

much love,
Lucy

  10. Very pretty! Very narrow satin ribbon would probably be nice with the printed ones as well.
