For the last few weekends, I have posted
some beautiful images from around the web.
I hope you are enjoying them….
This week, I have collected book bundles…
There’s something so comforting yet intriguing about an old book…
Each tells a different story; not only literally written within their
pages, but also by the many hands that have held them…
The tattered covers holding fingerprints of the past…
…and each page whispering a secret to those who listen closely.
With so much technology around us, will these
beautiful treasure holders become a thing of the past?
I hope not as there is nothing like the scent of book pages and getting lost within them.
As I wish you a peaceful weekend, please keep those in Japan close to your heart.
warm hugs,
Lucy

Lovely post. I am a book lover and can’t imagine my life without them. Hope your weekend is wonderful~ xxoo Diana
Such a beautiful post! I love them too!
In 2008 hurricane Ike put 5′ of the Gulf of Mexico in my house. The most tragic loss was my books. I taught elementary school for 30 years. I was saving fabulous and collectible children’s books for my grandkids. I had my grandfather’s books that were over 100 years old. I have started collecting again, but those books are not replaceable. I display all that I have.
Beautiful!

I know this is sad, Lucy…but it was so pretty the first time I came back for a second look…sad because I think I need a life~ lol xxoo Diana

‘hugs from afar’
I’ve been seeing so many book bundles used in decorating lately, especially without covers. It really is so pretty. Great collection of images, Lucy.
Such a cozy and creative winter idea! I love the warm textures and charming handmade details. A Website Mobile View Checker is also really helpful for viewing inspiring craft tutorials like this smoothly on mobile devices.
