Lucy- I love coming here...you are just full of fun ideas! Have a great weekend...want to adopt three grandchildren that love to craft? Well...2 of them do..the one just likes to talk. Hugs-Diana
I found my way over via a blog hop, and I'm love'n your blog, cute craftyness. I dream in color too, always have...is this not normal?. Anyhow, I'm a new follower. I'd also like to invite you to pop on over to my bloggity-blog to check it out, and become a follower if you'd like, or just enter into my Sensty Candle Warmer Giveaway. http://littlebirdseeds.blogspot.com/2010/10/scentsy-candles-giveaway.html
These are adorable. I once made such easels with my kids (I'm a teacher) out of popsicle sticks, but these are art!
I'm new to my 50s, and I'm just starting to feel creative (see my blog and posts tagged "not Martha Stewart" and you'll see what I mean). I'll be back to check out more...
I love them...they are so cute. I might try my hand at making some. I also made your "book pumpkins" from your post "Fall in love with fall". You can see the first one I made @ annaclotandme.blogspot.com. Thanks for sharing your talent and ideas!
Great idea! I like to use unusual place card holders. I'll try to find some appropriate branches to make some of these. Thanks for sharing this very clever idea. ~ Sarah
Thank you so much for letting me know about these...they are just adorable. I would love to share this post on my blog. Would it be ok to link to you and use these pictures? Take care, ~Karen~
Hi, I'm your newest follower... hope you check my blog out and I'd love for you to join us Thursdays at the linky party I co-host "A Crafty Soiree" www.yesterdayontuesday.com
Oh, wow! I love these. I'll be on the hunt for the perfect twig. For some reason, I suspect these are a little harder than they look. I'm wondering how tall yours are. They're not photographed next to anything, so it's hard to tell.
Thank you so much for this idea. I'm going to use it for my Thanksgiving table.
Hey Denise...That's a really good point...they are approx 3" tall....but you can make them bigger or smaller...and they were very easy to make...I promise you'll do a great job with them ! xo Lucy
Lucy, I'm back - just to let you know that I am the proud owner of 12 little easels. We had a HUGE wind storm yesterday morning. I walked the neighborhood in the late afternoon and picked up several broken branches. There were lots from which to choose! You were right. They are easy to make. Again, thank you for sharing your creativity. Can't wait to see what you'll come up with next!
Hi Lucy~ you have so many wonderful ideas over here! I love these too!! Such fun for a woodland themed table or a garden party! Thanks for sharing these at my party too! :)
Neat idea. Love the idea of the organic nature of the twigs with a really fine piece of stationary...point/counterpoint. Thank you for sharing your charming design. Cherry Kay
These are great. I sometimes paint little easels or pieces of little things such as scrabble pieces or dominoes or pieces of old piano keys. These will be great for my small art! Thanks!
Such a cute idea. It adds so much charm. I'm visiting from "So Many Tables" that posted their tablescape on Between Naps on the Porch. Now I'm following you. Thanks so much

Visiting from Just Something I Whipped Up. Cute project! This would be great for Thanksgiving or even a spring table setting.

Dang! This reminds me - I gathered a bunch of straight twigs up at our cabin, and left them up there! Now they're covered with snow!
ReplyDeleteCute easels. And I love the wording too! Thanks so much for linking up to Passion for Paint. Please join again some weekend.
